Before Your Appointments

Biote Pre-Insertion

Biote® requires two appointments – one for your bloodwork and another for the pellet placement, approximately a week later.            

Before your bloodwork appointment, please arrive fasting (water is fine) if possible 
Before your pellet placement appointment – to reduce the risk of bleeding and bruising, avoid the following for 2 days prior to treatment:
–Alcoholic beverages
–Anti-inflammatory medications including aspirin
–Vitamin E, fish oil, or flaxseed oil
–Ginkgo Biloba
