Functional Wellness Membership in Denver: Your Labs, Your Prescriber, and Your Hormone Plan for One Monthly Fee
Functional Wellness Membership at Cunningham Clinic in Denver, CO
Most people in Denver managing hormones, weight, or metabolic health are paying for it in pieces. Labs in January. A prescriber visit in March. A pellet insertion in May. Another draw in July. Each one is a separate invoice, a separate decision, and a separate opportunity to lose sight of your health goals — which is often what happens. The Cunningham Clinic Functional Wellness Membership replaces that with one monthly fee and a defined plan: annual and mid-year labs, scheduled prescriber time, one-time APOE genetic testing, discounted GLP-1 and peptide prescriptions and either pellet-based hormone therapy or medical management of shorter acting HRT as well as medical management, depending on which track fits you.

Cunningham Clinic's Functional Wellness Membership
We have two tiers for our functional wellness membership, both tailored to your needs and designed to help you get healthier, feel stronger, and look great.
All memberships have a $49 registration fee and require a 6-month commitment.

What is a functional wellness membership?
A functional wellness membership is a flat monthly fee that bundles preventive labs, scheduled prescriber visits, and hormone or metabolic therapy at a single clinic. At Cunningham Clinic in Denver, Gold ($169–$209/month) includes every pellet visit for the year.
Silver or Gold: One Question Decides It
Two tracks. The difference is not "big" versus "better" — it's which delivery method your hormone care uses.
Are you on, or considering, pellet therapy? No → Silver. Yes → Gold.
Silver — $89/month | For GLP-1, Peptide, and Non-Pellet Hormone Care
$49 registration fee, then $89/month, six-month minimum.
Silver is the right track if your care is prescription-driven: GLP-1 medications, peptide therapy, or hormone therapy delivered by cream, patch, or injection rather than pellets. You get comprehensive labs twice a year, two prescriber visits, one-time APOE genetic testing, 15% off peptide and GLP-1 medications dispensed at the clinic, and an annual collagen benefit.
Standalone value: $1,945. Annual cost: $1,117. You keep $828.

Gold — $169/month (women), $209/month (men) | For Pellet-Based Hormone Therapy
$49 registration fee, six-month minimum.
Gold is built around pellet therapy. Every pellet insertion visit for the year is included — no per-visit charges, no surprise invoices in month eight. It adds an annual longevity and diagnostic screening visit, an additional prescriber visit by telehealth or in person, a 30-minute IPL correction visit, and a complimentary aesthetic consultation. Gold members can also be on GLP-1s or peptide therapy; the 15% discount applies either way.
Why men pay more: men require a higher pellet dose and more pellet material per insertion, which makes the annual pellet cost meaningfully higher — $1,700+ versus $1,185+. The $40 monthly difference reflects that cost, not a different level of service.
Standalone value: $3,955 (women) / $4,470 (men). Annual cost: $2,077 / $2,557. You keep $1,878 / $1,913.

Silver — $89/month | For GLP-1, Peptide, and Non-Pellet Hormone Care
This is not health insurance. It is not a health plan, a discount health plan, or a substitute for major medical coverage. It does not pay claims, it has no network, and it covers nothing outside Cunningham Clinic. It is a prepaid arrangement for specific services delivered at our office at 695 S Colorado Blvd. The Colorado Division of Insurance cautions consumers about products marketed through membership fees that resemble limited coverage, and we want to be unambiguous: this is not one of them, and you should keep your health insurance. It's built for you if you are already in — or actively considering — ongoing care for hormones, weight, or preventive metabolic health, and you'd rather budget for it once than decide about it six times a year. It's not designed for single aesthetic treatments or primary care. We're not your primary care provider, and membership doesn't make us one.

What's Included, and What Each Piece Is Actually For
Two Rounds of Labs a Year, Not One
Membership includes comprehensive labs at baseline and again at mid-year — a $350 panel and a $195 panel. The mid-year draw is the part that matters, and it's the part that we never skip. A single annual panel tells you where you started. It tells you nothing about whether your dose is working. Hormone therapy, thyroid support, and GLP-1 protocols all require a second look to move from a reasonable starting estimate to a dose that actually fits you. Two draws a year is the difference between managed care and educated guessing. Learn more about our comprehensive lab panels.
Scheduled Time With Your Prescriber
Silver includes two prescriber visits a year, roughly every six months. Gold members get more contact — every pellet visit, plus an annual longevity and diagnostic screening visit, plus one additional in-person or telehealth visit if you need additional care. Your care is provided by our experienced and fully certified staff, all trained by Kimberly Cunningham, NP-C. Kimberly holds adjunct faculty appointments at the University of Colorado College of Nursing and Regis University. She is an active trainer for Biote Medical and Allergan Aesthetics — meaning she teaches these protocols to other clinicians. Read more about Kimberly Cunningham, NP-C.
APOE Genetic Testing — and What It Can and Cannot Tell You
Membership includes one-time APOE genotyping, a $150 test.
APOE is the most robustly replicated genetic risk factor for late-onset Alzheimer's disease. That's real. But a result is neither a diagnosis nor a prediction.
So why do we include it? Because APOE meaningfully informs a preventive plan. The ε4 variant is associated with lipid handling and cardiovascular risk, and knowing your status sharpens decisions about lipid management, blood pressure targets, metabolic health, exercise programming, and how aggressively to pursue all of it. It's one input into a longevity strategy, not a verdict.
We don't hand you a result and wish you luck. We review your APOE result with you in context and include a plan. If you'd rather not know your status, please tell us — the test is optional, and your membership doesn't change.
The Annual Collagen Boost: Buy Two Sculptra Vials, Get One Free
Both tiers include an annual buy-two-get-one-free Sculptra benefit — a $675 value.‡ Sculptra is an FDA-approved injectable composed of poly-L-lactic acid. Unlike a hyaluronic acid filler, which adds volume immediately by occupying space, Sculptra works by prompting your own fibroblasts to produce collagen gradually over months, with results documented to last up to two years. It's a structural treatment, not a fill.

More Benefits from our Membership
GLP-1 and Peptide Therapy at 15% Off
Members receive 15% off peptide and GLP-1 medications dispensed at the clinic — worth $275+ a year for a typical member.†
Here's why we believe that a membership and a GLP-1 belong together. The World Health Organization's 2025 guidance frames GLP-1 receptor agonists as long-term treatment for obesity — continuous use of six months or more — delivered within a structured care model with clinical support, not as a standalone prescription. Semaglutide and tirzepatide carry the strongest efficacy evidence among the approved agents. These are chronic disease medications that require monitoring, dose titration, nutritional support, and lab follow-up.
A membership is that structure. The labs, the prescriber time, and the scheduled follow-up aren't add-ons to the medication — they're what makes the medication work safely over years rather than months. That's also why we don't ship GLP-1s to people we've never examined. Learn more about medically supervised GLP-1 weight management.
Pellet-Based Hormone Therapy (Gold)
Gold includes every pellet visit for the year — $1,185+ of care for women, $1,700+ for men.
We're going to tell you something most clinics offering pellets won't tell you.
In 2023, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists issued a clinical consensus stating that compounded bioidentical menopausal hormone therapy should not be routinely prescribed where FDA-approved formulations exist, and specifically recommending routes other than pellets for delivering testosterone — citing limited safety data and the fact that a pellet cannot be removed once it's placed. The Menopause Society raises parallel concerns about compounded preparations, including dosing variability and regulatory oversight.
We don't think you should hear that from someone else after you've enrolled.
Here's our position. Pellets are one option among several, not a superior one. We do not claim they are safer, more natural, or more effective than FDA-approved hormone therapy, because the evidence doesn't support that claim. What we do claim is that for appropriately screened patients who choose pellets through a genuine shared decision-making conversation — one where FDA-approved alternatives are discussed, not mentioned in passing — pellet therapy can be delivered well. At Cunningham Clinic, that means:
• Endometrial protection is non-negotiable for any patient with an intact uterus receiving estrogen. Oral micronized progesterone is our standard. We do not consider transdermal progesterone to be endometrially protective.
• Dosing is anchored to labs, including SHBG, and reviewed at both the baseline and mid-year draw — not set once and forgotten.
• Screening is real. Contraindications are reviewed before insertion every time.
• The irreversibility is disclosed up front because it's the single most important thing to understand about this delivery route before you choose it.
If, after that conversation, pellets aren't right for you, we'll let you know and put you on Silver.

IPL Correction Visit and Aesthetic Consultation (Gold)
Gold includes one 30-minute IPL correction visit annually (225) and a complimentary aesthetic consultation (250). The IPL visit is for correction — pigment, redness, vascular concerns — not a full course of treatment.

The Math: What Membership Actually Saves You
We'd rather show you the arithmetic than ask you to trust a number on a graphic.
Please note: these figures are annualized over 12 months, while the commitment is 6 months.¶ A member who joins and leaves at month seven won't see the full amount. If you're not planning on a year of care, tell us on the call, and we'll help you figure out whether membership makes sense. Sometimes it doesn't, and clients can still utilize our à la carte menu of services.

How to Join
Membership enrollment is for existing Cunningham Clinic clients and can be initiated by calling the front desk at 720-650-4660.
There's no cart button on this page. Hormone therapy and GLP-1 protocols aren't products, and we don't enroll anyone before a conversation about candidacy, history, and which track actually fits. It's a fifteen-minute call, and there's no charge for it.
1. Call 720-650-4660 and ask for a membership fit call. We'll talk through your goals, history, and current treatment.
2. Choose your track — Silver or Gold — and pay the $49 registration fee.
3. If you are new to Cunningham Clinic, schedule your $350 getting-started lab draw and written evaluation/recommendations through the front desk.
4. Meet with your prescriber about two weeks after your lab draw to review results and build your plan during your extensive, one-hour consultation, costing only $300.
5. Monthly billing begins, and your next appointment(s) and mid-year labs get scheduled automatically so nothing falls through.
Cancel any time after the six-month minimum. Benefits reset annually, and unused benefits don't roll over.

Footnotes
† The 15% peptide/GLP-1 savings figure of $275+ per year is an estimate based on average annual member medication spend of approximately $1,833 at the clinic. Your savings depend on which medications you're prescribed and how much you fill. The discount applies to medications dispensed at Cunningham Clinic only and does not apply to online store orders. Membership does not include the cost of medication.
‡ The $675 Sculptra value represents one complimentary vial and requires the purchase of two vials at standard pricing. This benefit has no value to members who do not purchase Sculptra. Limit one per membership year; does not roll over.
§ Cunningham Clinic's Functional Wellness Membership is not health insurance, a health benefit plan, or a discount health plan, and is not regulated as insurance. It provides access to specific services at Cunningham Clinic only and is not a substitute for major medical coverage.
¶ Savings figures are annualized across twelve months of membership. Both tiers carry a six-month minimum commitment. Members who discontinue before completing twelve months will realize proportionally less than the stated annual figure.
Silver standalone value ($1,945) = annual labs $350 + two prescriber visits $300 + mid-year labs $195 + APOE $150 + medication savings $275 + Sculptra benefit $675.
Gold standalone value = annual labs $350 + pellet visits $1,185 (women) / $1,700 (men) + mid-year labs $195 + APOE $150 + medication savings $275 + longevity screening visit $500 + additional prescriber visit $150 + Sculptra benefit $675 + IPL correction $225 + aesthetic consultation $250. Gold prescriber contact is delivered through pellet visits, the annual longevity and diagnostic screening visit, and one additional visit, rather than as a separate two-visit line item.
