-Avoid skin irritation or intentional skin tanning for 2 weeks prior to your treatment

-You will likely experience redness for 1-3 days; however, for more aggressive treatments, this may last longer

-Skin may crust and peel for - days depending on the treatment

-Treat your skin gently, avoiding scrubbing or trauma to the treated areas

-There are no restrictions on bathing, but avoid the pool, hot tub, lake, or ocean until the redness resolves

-Avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks after your treatment

-After 24-28 hours, use sun block SPF 30+ at all times

-Multiple treatments over a period of several months may be required to achieve the desired response

-Avoid anti-inflammatory medications (aspirin, ibuprofen, Aleve, Motrin, etc.) for one week after your treatment, unless prescribed by your provider
