Before Your Appointments
BioTE® takes two appointments – one appointment for your bloodwork and then another for the pellet placement approximately a week later.
Before your bloodwork appointment – please arrive fasting (water is fine) if possible
Before your pellet placement appointment – to reduce the risk of bleeding and bruising, avoid the following for 2 days prior to treatment:
–Alcoholic beverages
–Anti-inflammatory medications including aspirin
–Vitamin E, fish oil or flaxseed oil
–Ginkgo Biloba
